Leica M3 35mm Film Rangefinder Camera Single Stroke Camera Body Only

Camera body including the vulcanite is in very good cosmetic condition with signs of use commensurate with its age. Note that top plate where a Leica Meter MC was fitted has bright marks and there is a very light ding on the side of the top plate below film advance lever. The paint around the film door has some blemishes. Please therefore check photos to satisfy yourself of the condition before bidding as they are part of the description.

Camera is fully functional. Shutter cocks and fires at all speeds (not tested for accuracy). Shutter curtains are sound. Self timer and frameline selector are working.

Focussing is easy with the coupled rangefinder and the patch whilst having a few small spots at the edges is easily visible. The viewfinder, is clear apart from a little dust, but this has no effect on framing.

Film spool is present.
